The Breed's Foundation Registry - Founded in 2004 in Virginia giving our beloved breed a home and with that came the commencement of the breed we all know and love today
United Kennel Club
UKC
UKC was founded in 1898 and the very first breed registered with the UKC was the American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT).
Our heaviest influence breed from the foundation breeding stock used in the creation of the American Bully.
Although the exact "mix" that brough about our creation has never been validated. We are sure of the influence from the following four breeds:
American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT)
American Staffordshire Terrier (AST)
Staffordshire Bull Terrier (SBT)
American Bulldog (AB)

Note: With the growth of our breed and four different variety sizes (Pocket, Standard, Classic and XL) there can be other breed influences depending on the bloodline you are looking at. (Heavier Terrier, Heavier Bulldog, Heavier Mastiff, etc.)
The American Bully was accepted into UKC as its own breed on July 15, 2013.
We highly encourage attending an event with UKC as they are a performance based registry "Forms Follows Function" they offer lots of Performance Trials at many of their conformation events as well. Great place to learn while also introducing our fantastic breed to other well established breed owners/enthusiasts.
BRC Global Canine Pedigrees
BRC GLOBAL
BRC is a "Bully Registry" that offers conformation events in mainly the Midwest US area. Although they are considered a "newer" registry, it is no doubt their Judge's are well trained and respected - having quite a few AKC and UKC judges in their roster.
BRC does allow Merle Bullies to compete in conformation events.
Our favorite brag about BRC; as an XL Bully Program, we appreciate they are the first registry that separated the XL American Bully to be its own variety in conformation, which means there will ALWAYS be an XL in the Best in Show lineup.
Our production Prince Charmer was their first XL Grand Champion along with winning a National title as well with BRC in 2021.
US Bully Registry
USBR
Based out of Temecula, CA
Although we have no personal experience with USBR, the Conformation only All Breed registry (2022) was started by Ed Shepherd (RIP) the creator of the American Bully game changer dog Dax and holds a good reputation within the Breed's community on the west coast especially.
UABA
UNITED AMERICAN BULLY ASSOCIATION
May 15, 2024
UABA was granted acceptance under the United Kennel Club as the *FIRST* American Bully National Breed Club.
This is a HUGE accomplishment for the breed and overall breed community in eventually obtaining CHIC #'s and hopefully gaining AKC acceptance one day in the future.
We are proud to be a Founding Member in this huge accomplishment for the breeds future and hope to see the National Clubs growth tremendously in the future with others who share our love for the breed.

PENNHIP
Only a Certified Veterinarian with Pennhip can perform these x-rays on your dogs. However, Pennhip can be performed as early as 16 weeks (4 months) and are considered "official" results at that time. Great way to evaluate puppies for future breeding prospects young.
*Note: It is Still highly recommended to have OFA Hip evals done (at 2 years old) for official breeding age clearances as Pennhip and OFA are looking at different things within the dogs hips
