Oily Drop Bullies is a small kennel located in Saratoga Springs, New York.

We offer much more than beautiful, well mannered, highly accomplished (in multiple avenues) XL American Bullies.

 
Our main goal is to overall better the breed; we begin this process within our breeds variety - we and our dogs try our absolute best to lead by example.

Our program dogs are strong in both mind & body, we are "Lean and Athletic" in structure.

Oily Drop Bullies utilizes older bloodline style pedigrees (GrCh Remy Martin / Razors Edge mostly), ODB dog's are extensively health tested as recommended for the breed this includes but is not limited to:

Embark,

OFA (BAER, CAER, Dentition, Thyroid, Kidney Database, Patella, Cardiac, Trachea, Spine, Hips and Elbows) & Pennhip as well as.

We are apart of the breed community that is adamant on building this breeds health database more and more every day; this is not an "easy" road to journey on within the community.

Recently UC Davis Laboratories announced a new test "Behavior Propensity Belgian Malinois" this cheek swab saliva test is looking for the A2 gene associated with "Rage Syndrome" although this study is for a completely unrelated breed to the American Bully (not apart of our foundation makeup) yet this is a concern in our breed, especially in some of the older XL variety  bloodlines. Because of this concern, we have opted in to test for this genetic marker as well, and hopefully help to clear our breed of this concern in the future. 

Our dogs are titled in multiple avenues with multiple Registries before ever being considered for breeding.

- Oily Drop Bullies produced thee most conformation accomplished XL American Bully for our breed's variety to exist (MBOB MBIS MRBIS NW 2x GrCh/ 2x Ch Prince Charmer, SPOT) and take this monumental accomplishment in the Breed's history; along with that responsibility as a mentor in the breed & breed variety very seriously.

Our focus in the program is to create fully capable, overall sound dogs with of course high importance on a well rounded temperament and health. We do extensive socialization, desensitizing and temperament evaluations beginning just days after birth with Puppy Culture & Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) along with Early Scent Introduction (ESI). 

We fully believe the American Bully and especially the XL variety deserve to be showcased in the best light possible at all times, the sad reality is Bully Breeds in general rarely get a second chance in life. 

They deserve to have a breeder, Handler, Owner, Community who care about the dogs overall quality of life more than their egos or their bank accounts.

Oily Drop Bullies does not breed frequently, however, litters are exposed to science-based puppy rearing protocols starting after day 3 of birth; we do a lot of conformation training and of course confidence building to give the puppies the best start at life we possible can.

We choose homes that are suitable based on Clients wants, needs and lifestyle.

Our "pick" process is not the same as most other breeders because of this. 

Oily Drop Bullies has made and held a highly regarded reputation in our breed community in terms of showing, morals, ethics, and responsible practices... We certainly do not plan on stopping or slowing down with that reputation we hold so near and dear to our hearts any time soon.
